IPT Fiber, a Polish technology company, focuses on researching and developing next-generation optical fibers for industry and telecommunications. The company is working on multi-core fiber technology, which allows for data transmission at much higher speeds and with greater security than standard single-core fibers.
In May 2023, IPT Fiber began constructing a Research and Development Center in Lubartów in the Lublin region. The center will support the research agenda and develop special fiber production technologies, including seven-core fibers for applications in 5G networks and the Internet of Things. The center will employ between 50 to 100 people, mainly highly skilled engineers and technicians.
